    Dr. Kelly Hansen brings over 20 years of expertise in diagnosing and treating hearing, dizziness, and balance disorders. She earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees at Purdue University and her Doctorate of Audiology from Arizona School of Health Sciences. Dr. Hansen is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and a member of the Florida Academy of Audiology, with clinical certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Her career includes roles as a hospital audiologist for six years and a decade in an Ear, Nose, and Throat practice before founding Trinity Hearing & Balance Center in 2006. Originally from South Bend, Indiana, Dr. Hansen now enjoys an active lifestyle in Florida with her husband and three children, often found on the pickleball courts or spending time with her family.

    Jenny has transitioned to Trinity Hearing & Balance after over 30 years as a senior collector, bringing robust customer service skills and a deep passion for helping others to her new role. Working alongside her cousin, Dr. Kelly Hansen, and their dedicated team, Jenny finds immense fulfillment as a state-licensed audiology assistant. She delights in working directly with patients, providing assistance with hearing aids, and forming meaningful connections. Certified in earwax removal with OtoSet®, Jenny ensures patient comfort and well-being. Beyond her professional dedication, Jenny cherishes family time in Florida and back home in Indiana, and is eagerly anticipating her upcoming role as a grandmother!

    With nearly two decades in customer service and management along with experience as a stay-at-home mom, Marissa Rubert has a knack for engaging people, turning challenges into solutions, and bringing out the smile in just about anyone. “My favorite part of my job is to give each patient an amazing experience,” says Marissa, winner of the 2022 Audigy First Impression Award, a hearing-industry honor. “I also love to watch how our patients’ lives change because they get the gift of hearing again.” Outside the office, Marissa can often be found enjoying time with her husband, children, and adult stepchildren; volunteering at her children’s school; or taking the boat out for some fun on the water.

Alongside diagnostic services, we specialize in fitting advanced digital hearing aids, ensuring trusted, quality care in a warm, friendly environment.

      Our Specializations

      • Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs)
        Recommendations and fitting of ALDs such as personal amplifiers, FM systems, or loop systems to improve hearing in specific listening situations.
      • Balance Assessments
        Evaluation of balance and vestibular function, including videonystagmography (VNG), electronystagmography (ENG), and posturography tests.
      • Cochlear Implants
        Evaluation, candidacy determination, surgery referral, programming, and ongoing support for individuals with severe to profound hearing loss who may benefit from cochlear implant technology.
      • Counseling and Education
        Information and support regarding hearing loss, hearing conservation, communication strategies, and coping mechanisms for individuals and their families.
      • Custom Earplugs and Earmolds
        Creation and fitting of custom-made earplugs for hearing protection, swimming, musicians, and other specific needs. Also includes earmolds for hearing aids or in-ear monitors.
      • Hearing Aid Fitting and Repair
        Selection, fitting, and programming of hearing aids to address hearing loss. This includes counseling on the proper use and maintenance of hearing aids.
      • Hearing Evaluations
        Comprehensive assessments to evaluate hearing abilities, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, tympanometry, and otoacoustic emissions (OAE) testing.
      • Pediatric Audiology
        Specialized services for children, including hearing screenings, diagnostic evaluations, hearing aid fittings, and educational support for parents and caregivers.
      • Tinnitus Evaluation and Management
        Assessment, counseling, and development of strategies to manage tinnitus (ringing or buzzing sound in the ears).
