Julie VanAusdal, M.S., CCC-A, is a Clinical Audiologist with 35 years of experience. She earned her B.S. in speech pathology from the University of Iowa and an M.S. in audiology from the University of Washington. After completing an internship in 1988, she worked in Anchorage, AK, performing diagnostic audiology services and cochlear implant programming. In 1995, she moved to Olympia, WA, and worked in an ENT practice until 2007. Since then, she has operated South Sound Audiology, dedicated to restoring her patients’ hearing and improving their quality of life.
Rebecca has served the South Sound community as a hearing care professional for over 30 years. She earned her master’s degree in audiology from the University of Washington in 1988 and completed a VA internship in Seattle. In 2008, she received her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) from AT Still University. Rebecca joined South Sound Audiology in September 2022, where she is dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive hearing care. Known for her infectious humor, Rebecca enjoys making patients smile. In her free time, she enjoys pottery, camping, and backpacking with her family.
Sarah grew up in the North Thurston/Olympia area and studied at Bates in Tacoma. She fell in love with audiology for its ability to help people from all walks of life. As an office manager at South Sound Audiology, Sarah ensures every patient has a positive experience. Naturally caring, she thrives in her role because of her passion for audiology and the supportive work environment. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys DIY projects, spending time with friends and family, shopping, watching football, and swimming in the summer.
Tyson grew up and attended school in Washington. His responsibilities include answering calls, scheduling appointments, following up on referrals, and assisting the audiologist and office manager. Tyson’s interest in audiology started young, inspired by his mother, who has always been hard of hearing. He loves the positive work environment and enjoys helping people. Outside of work, Tyson enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, watching movies, playing games, or traveling.
