Dr. Markva sees patients at Durango Audiology 4 days a week. Obtaining her original certifications in 1989, she has many years of experience. She and her husband Kurt owned Fauquier Hearing Services in the foothills of the Shenandoah mountains in Virginia for 20 years. She has been with Durango Audiology and Montezuma Hearing since March of 2022. Diane is thrilled to be part of a solid organization that embraces best practices to yield best results for each patient. She serves the public in her capacity as a seasoned audiologist who brings enthusiasm and compassion to every situation she encounters.
Kurt was the silent partner in the Markva’s private practice in Virginia. He took on an active role in 2012, overseeing operations until they sold the practice in 2019. Kurt joined Montezuma Hearing Clinic in 2022 intent on helping to build the organization and to serve the public and provide the best services possible. Kurt currently provides services at Durango Audiology and San Juan Hearing in Farmington. Kurt is currently working towards his license as a Hearing Aid Provider in Colorado.
I grew up on a Cattle Ranch in Monticello, Utah, spending the better part of my summers riding in the mountains with my grandparents. I have been married to Gib Glazner for 25 years and we have an 18- year-old daughter Tori. I enjoy being outdoors; gardening, riding motorcycles, 4-wheeling in the mountains or walking on a beach with family and close friends. I started working at Montezuma Hearing Clinic in June of 2013. I love connecting with patients and working closely with my work family. We are a team with the common goal of helping people improve the quality of their day to day lives, with better hearing.

Reconnect with everything you’ve been missing. The Guided Hearing Experience is the first step to understanding whether you may have hearing loss, and is a helpful way to prepare for a full evaluation with a certified provider.

Untreated hearing loss can slowly affect more than communication. It can increase the risk of isolation, impact mood, and contribute to cognitive decline over time. The good news is that taking the first step toward understanding your hearing is simple and empowering.

Hearing is complex, and an online screener only tells part of the story. HearingLoss.com–certified professionals provide the highest level of clinical and patient care to give you a complete and meaningful understanding of your hearing.
