    Audiologist Dr. Karen Melton co-owns Hearing Care Partners, a thriving practice with seven locations across Missouri. She holds a master’s degree from the University of Georgia and an audiology doctorate from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences. With advanced certifications in both dementia care and tinnitus management, Dr. Melton addresses hearing loss through a comprehensive medical approach, recognizing the connection to cognitive health and overall well-being. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and has served on the boards of the Missouri Academy of Audiology, Missouri Hearing Society, and Farmington Regional Chamber of Commerce. Outside the office, Dr. Melton enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, Neil; their three adult children; and their close circle of family and friends.

    David Shepard joined Hearing Care Partners in 2016 and brings decades of experience and passion to his role. He earned his Associate of Applied Science degree in hearing instrument science from Ozarks Technical Community College and served as an adjunct faculty member, helping train future professionals. David also holds a degree in communication from the University of Central Missouri. He is dedicated to helping patients reconnect with the sounds they have been missing and is known for his compassion and enthusiasm.

    Lianna is a licensed hearing instrument specialist with a degree in secondary education from Southeast Missouri State University. Due to congenital single-sided deafness, Lianna has lived with hearing loss in her left ear all of her life. After being fitted with a CROS device to partially restore her hearing, she was inspired to become a hearing instrument specialist and share the gift of better hearing with as many people as possible. Lianna is married to her best friend, Greg, and together they have a son named Jesse. You can find her out on the lake kayaking or on the hiking trails with her dog, Buster Beans, doing a bit of geocaching.

    Lee Supitilov earned his Associate of Applied Science degree in hearing instrument science from Ozarks Technical Community College. He had experience working at another Missouri practice before joining Hearing Care Partners as a hearing instrument specialist. Connecting people to better hearing is what happily brings him to work every day. Making lives better through better hearing on a daily basis is very rewarding. He also appreciates the way everyone at the office works toward the same goal and how the team is like family. Outside of work, Lee enjoys time with his grown son and daughter and most anything to do with the outdoors.

    Erica Dunlap joined Hearing Care Partners in 2023, bringing a background in working with youth and a passion for helping others. She holds an associate degree from Mineral Area College and is COHC-certified. Erica enjoys connecting with patients and being part of a supportive, team-focused environment. Outside of work, she values time with family and enjoys traveling, camping, and spending time outdoors during the summer months.
