    Dr. Laura Kohlman is a dedicated provider and owner of the Center for Audiology Services, having taken the helm in 2022. She earned her Doctor of Audiology from Towson University, where she also completed a combined Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology and Deaf Studies. Her clinical training included rotations at ENT offices and an internship at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Kohlman’s expertise lies in auditory rehabilitation and adult hearing aid care. She is a proud member of the Pennsylvania Academy of Audiology.

    Dr. Jennifer Dobbin earned her Doctor of Audiology from Salus University and her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences & Disorders from Pennsylvania State University. Her clinical training included rotations at ENT offices, a VA medical center, and a school for the deaf, culminating in an internship at Alamance Ear, Nose & Throat in North Carolina. Dr. Dobbin is passionate about building strong doctor-patient relationships, ensuring open communication for optimal care. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and a member of the Pennsylvania Academy of Audiology.

        Recommendations and fitting of ALDs such as personal amplifiers, FM systems, or loop systems to improve hearing in specific listening situations.
      • Cochlear Implants
        Evaluation, candidacy determination, surgery referral, programming, and ongoing support for individuals with severe to profound hearing loss who may benefit from cochlear implant technology.
      • Counseling and Education
        Information and support regarding hearing loss, hearing conservation, communication strategies, and coping mechanisms for individuals and their families.
      • Custom Earplugs and Earmolds
        Creation and fitting of custom-made earplugs for hearing protection, swimming, musicians, and other specific needs. Also includes earmolds for hearing aids or in-ear monitors.
      • Hearing Aid Fitting and Repair
        Selection, fitting, and programming of hearing aids to address hearing loss. This includes counseling on the proper use and maintenance of hearing aids.
      • Hearing Evaluations
        Comprehensive assessments to evaluate hearing abilities, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, tympanometry, and otoacoustic emissions (OAE) testing.
