  • Georgine Ray

    Dr. Ray received her doctoral degree (Au.D.) from the University of Florida and her B.S. and M.S. from Arizona State University. She is a fellow and life member of the American Academy of Audiology, where she has served on the Board of Directors and inaugural Board of Governors. Prior to founding Affiliated Audiology Consultants, Dr. Ray worked everywhere from hospitals and ENT offices to field clinics for Indian Health Services. Dr. Ray’s passion is to assist her patients, no matter their age, to improve their quality of life by bringing sound back into their world.

    Dr. Amanda McInroy earned her doctorate from Arizona State University. She has trained extensively in diagnostic audiologic testing and hearing aid fitting and programming. Dr. McInroy is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and holds a clinical competence certificate from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Dr. McInroy provides continuity of care to patients from the initial diagnosis through their individualized treatment plan. Dr. McInroy enjoys softball, scrapbooking, and relaxing with her husband, Jeff, and their two rescue cats.

  • Elaine Slepak

    Dr. Slepak earned two bachelor’s degrees, an M.A., and her doctorate from the University of Arizona, her home state. She completed her clinical fellowship at Atlanta’s Department of Veterans Affairs with experience in diagnostics, hearing aids, aural rehabilitation, vestibular evaluations, and cochlear implants. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and holds a clinical competence certificate from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Dr. Slepak is married and spends her free time enjoying and cheering on her two little athletes.

    Nicole has extensive experience in the hearing care field and in a hearing care office. She’s well versed in hearing aid maintenance and is always hungry to expand her industry knowledge. She enjoys the field of audiology, loves helping people, and has a friendly, welcoming voice on the phone. It’s no wonder she won the 2016 and 2022 Outstanding First Impression awards at an industry event! Nicole loves gardening; she’s also family-oriented and looks forward to bonding at the weekly family dinner at her niece’s house.

    With over 20 years of medical billing and insurance experience, Nicole aims to answer all our patients’ financial questions and tackle the most challenging of insurance billing concerns. She is responsible for all aspects of billing, along with assisting patients with all their insurance-related concerns during their experience in our office. When she’s not working, Nicole is a dog mom of three wonderful pups and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. An Arizona native, she is clearly a Cardinals football fan.

        Evaluation, candidacy determination, surgery referral, programming, and ongoing support for individuals with severe to profound hearing loss who may benefit from cochlear implant technology.

      • Custom Earplugs and Earmolds
        Creation and fitting of custom-made earplugs for hearing protection, swimming, musicians, and other specific needs. Also includes earmolds for hearing aids or in-ear monitors.
      • Hearing Aid Fitting and Repair
        Selection, fitting, and programming of hearing aids to address hearing loss. This includes counseling on the proper use and maintenance of hearing aids.
      • Hearing Evaluations
        Comprehensive assessments to evaluate hearing abilities, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, tympanometry, and otoacoustic emissions (OAE) testing.
      • Pediatric Audiology
        Specialized services for children, including hearing screenings, diagnostic evaluations, hearing aid fittings, and educational support for parents and caregivers.
      • Tinnitus Evaluation and Management
        Assessment, counseling, and development of strategies to manage tinnitus (ringing or buzzing sound in the ears).
