Dr. Callie Beauchamp joined Worth Hearing Center in 2010. Hailing from Dumas, Texas, her passion is helping people tackle hearing loss. Dr. Beauchamp fosters a supportive environment, so both her team and her patients feel valued. She puts a high value on curiosity, fairness, accountability, and best practices. The most rewarding moment of Dr. Beauchamp’s career came on a sunny Friday afternoon, when a recent patient called from a state park. He was just sitting there, listening to the birds, and he wanted to say, “Thank you.” Dr. Beauchamp likes to read, run, bike, and garden with her daughter (though veggies seem to vanish under their watch). She loves her family and the great outdoors.
Originally from San Fernando Valley, Calif., and Las Cruces, N.M., Dr. Christina Gonzalez brings a diverse background to her work. She joined Worth Hearing Center in 2019. Her mission is to make a profound difference in people’s lives by returning their hearing to them. It’s a what keeps her excited and motivated every day. Dr. Gonzalez is a music enthusiast, singing since she could talk and strumming the guitar occasionally. Her favorite pastime is hanging out with her three sons and cheering them on across the field, whether it’s soccer, hockey, or something else. Sushi holds a special place in her heart, and The Greatest Showman is her favorite movie due to its amazing soundtrack.
Dr. Laura Howard joined Worth Hearing Center in 2022. Her roots trace back to Albuquerque, where she attended La Cueva High School. What truly ignites Dr. Howard’s passion for her work is the profound impact she has on her patients. Interacting with them is her favorite thing, and she takes pride in making a difference. Whether it’s restoring the gift of sound, addressing ear-related concerns, or providing quick fixes for hearing aids, Dr. Howard finds satisfaction in offering solutions. Outside the clinic, Dr. Howard thrives on an active lifestyle. She’s a hot-yoga enthusiast and enjoys painting. She’s also a dessert aficionado, and she loves walking her dog.
Diana Apodaca is a Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS) at Worth Hearing Center, having joined the team in 2020. What ignites Diana’s motivation every day is the joy she finds in her work. Witnessing her patients’ happiness as they experience improved hearing is her greatest reward. “I cranked up the music in the car and I cried. I haven’t heard music like that in years,” one patient reported. These are the moments Diana lives for. Having fun coworkers also adds to her workday. Outside of work, Diana loves spending time with her family. Movie night is a favorite (she’s likely to choose Wonder Woman). Diana is also a fan of Mexican food and dabbles in photography.
Kevin Oyler, a Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS) at Worth Hearing Center, joined us in 2014. A native of Albuquerque, he brings a deep commitment to his work. For Kevin, life is about improvement, imagination, and persistence. Kevin is hyper-aware of the fact that every appointment holds the potential to change someone’s life for the better. A great example is one highly active elderly patient whose life was transformed through hearing aids. Now she can fully engage in her favorite activities, a testament to the life-changing impact Kevin can bring to his patients. Beyond the clinic, Kevin thrives on creativity; he is happiest when playing the guitar and singing.
Adrea Oyler has been the Operations Manager at Worth Hearing Center since 2007. Albuquerque is Adrea’s hometown. Every day she looks for an opportunity to make a tangible difference in people’s lives. Helping people hear better and being part of a locally owned small business are things in which she takes immense pride. Adrea lives for the transformations that take place at Worth Hearing Center. For instance, a 90-year-old patient came in with a frown, having resisted hearing aids for years. As the patient left with a radiant smile, Adrea’s sense of purpose was renewed. On the weekends, Adrea can be found playing sand volleyball, camping, running, reading, or even painting furniture.
Clare Jacobs is a Patient Care Coordinator. She was born across the pond in Banbury, England, but made her way to Los Lunas, N.M., as a child. Clare values the incredible team she works with, recognizing that the synergy among her coworkers is everything that makes her job enjoyable. Clare loves spending time cheering on her son at football games and applauding her daughters’ dance performances. She’s a lover of the great outdoors and seeks adventure through hiking, camping, fishing, and any other activity that helps her escape the city. At home, she loves crafting, Mexican food and reading the Twilight series over and over.
Lead Patient Care Coordinator at Worth Hearing Center since 2021, Kassandra is a true Albuquerque native. She feels it’s extremely important to make a difference however you can. Helping those in need and being part of an exceptional team at Worth Hearing Center are her guiding lights. Accountability, authenticity, and family are three of Kassandra’s favorite things. Spending time with her loved ones is essential to her, and her mom’s green-chile chicken enchiladas just might be a huge part of that. When she’s feeling creative, you’ll find her decorating cakes or continuing to master the art of makeup. She also loves watching Grey’s Anatomy.
Meet Sandy, our Insurance Coordinator, a cornerstone of Worth Hearing Center since 2005. Hailing from Corpus Christi, Texas, she helps our patients make the most of their benefits. Sandy loves her job and her coworkers, who have become a second family. It’s a joy to be part of a team that helps improve lives, one patient at a time. What she enjoys the most is the transformative power of hearing solutions for patients in need. For example, during the Hear for the Holidays initiative, she was able to help provide free hearing devices to those facing financial struggles, a heartwarming experience she treasures. Outside the office, Sandy is a talented crafter and also collects lifelike dolls.
