    After previously managing the office of a family practice and then joining Woodward Audiology in 2015, Dana earned an Audiology Assistant certificate and returned to school to obtain her associate degree in hearing instrument science from Ozarks Technical Community College. When not in the office helping community members hear and live their best, Dana loves spending time with family, including Mike, her husband of over 30 years; their three grown daughters; and their 3-year-old grandson. She also enjoys reading, quilting, and being active outside.

    Dr. Mariah VanHoose received her B.A. in communication sciences and disorders from Truman State University and her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Illinois. Providing hearing health care to small, rural areas is something Dr. VanHoose feels strongly about. Her expertise lies in hearing aid fitting for all ages, adult cochlear implant programming, and tinnitus management, and she is proficient in American Sign Language. Her passion for audiology sparks from her experience of growing up in a deaf family. When not in the office, Dr. VanHoose can be found out at the farm with her favorite pups, riding four-wheelers with her family.

    Dr. Michelle Woodward is a native of Clarksville, MO. She received her M.S. in audiology from Western Illinois University in 2000 and her Clinical Doctorate from Arizona School of Health Sciences. She is currently certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and maintains a fellowship with the American Academy of Audiology. She is also an active member of Rotary International Kirksville Noon Club and Quota International of Kirksville. When not in the office, Dr. Woodward can be found spending time with her husband and two daughters, running, and following Mizzou football.

  • Alisha Dromey

    Alisha brought her trademark enthusiasm for helping others when she joined Hearing Care Partners. “I love that I get the opportunity every day to help patients hear their family and friends again,” she says. Alisha earned her associate degree at Moberly Area Community College and also attained a certificate through the International Hearing Society Distance Learning Course. Her robust experience also includes past work as a dental assistant and an independent insurance specialist. Outside the office, Alisha cherishes time with family, including her husband, Neil; her children, Troy and Maddie; and their pooch, Milo. She and Neil can also be found golfing, playing cards, or barbecuing.

        Recommendations and fitting of ALDs such as personal amplifiers, FM systems, or loop systems to improve hearing in specific listening situations.

      • Counseling and Education
        Information and support regarding hearing loss, hearing conservation, communication strategies, and coping mechanisms for individuals and their families.
      • Custom Earplugs and Earmolds
        Creation and fitting of custom-made earplugs for hearing protection, swimming, musicians, and other specific needs. Also includes earmolds for hearing aids or in-ear monitors.
      • Hearing Aid Fitting and Repair
        Selection, fitting, and programming of hearing aids to address hearing loss. This includes counseling on the proper use and maintenance of hearing aids.
      • Hearing Evaluations
        Comprehensive assessments to evaluate hearing abilities, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, tympanometry, and otoacoustic emissions (OAE) testing.
      • Industrial Audiology
        Workplace hearing evaluations, noise exposure assessments, and recommendations for hearing conservation programs to prevent occupational hearing loss.
      • Tinnitus Evaluation and Management
        Assessment, counseling, and development of strategies to manage tinnitus (ringing or buzzing sound in the ears).
